Manage Bot Access to Easy IO

By default, several AI crawlers and other bandwidth-intensive bots are blocked from accessing images on the Easy IO CDN. This includes the following bots:

  • Ahrefs Bot
  • Amazon AI Bot
  • ByteDance AI Spider
  • Claude AI Bot
  • ChatGPT/OpenAI Bot
  • Facebook AI Bot
  • Perplexity AI Bot
  • Petal AI Bot
  • TikTok AI Spider

However, if you wish to allow access for any of these bots, you may change this on your site management page. Click the gear icon next to the site you want to change, and look for the setting to allow aggressive/bandwidth-intensive bots.

This should not affect general use of AI chatbots and the like, since they use a separate User-Agent header. But do please let us know if you encounter any issues.

Per-bot controls are available on the Infinite tier, and includes additional bots like Applebot. Give us a holler if you find any bots that you think we should consider including in the list.

Note that bot management is available only on the Growth plan or higher.
